Artist josh blackwell created these thrifty and unique pieces, but you can tote around and make them yourself! Instead of throwing out plastic bags that accumulate , collect them and create your own design using colorful thread, yarn or ribbon. For extra support loading up on fruits and veggies at farmers market, double, or triple the bags before "sewing" in your creations. if you're a good enough sewer, i bet you can even add some rad phrase on the side of the bag too...When i first saw these bags, they really caught my eye and i feel they embody the spirit of turning something ordinary and not so healthy for our planet into something beautiful with less environmental impact.
